The Presidents Cup 2011

19th November Saturday, 2011

The Presidents Cup 2011
It has been an exciting days play. The weather turned after around 3 PM with the rain coming in from the NNW at about 12 kms per hour and the temperature around 21C. Well, this is Melbourne, and as they say - if you don't like the weather just wait a minute. Yesterday it was in the mid 30's and sunny. Today as the day came to an end, a bit miserable for the spectators and Tiger added to everyone's dissapointment in not making the puttable puts!
At the end of the day, it is still, cold, rainy and dark.
Final hole being played out by US's Furyk and Watney and Adam and Els for the International team.
The US picks up the last hole.
They go into Day 4, the Singles, the US leading 13/9.

Can the International team do what they did in 1998? It is a possibilty. I think they can if Tiger continues to play the way he did today!

Hello Bloggers and Blogreaders Worldwide!

Hi Guys!
Created this blog today.
It will probably end up being my diary of any event worth putting pen to paper, for you to read, comment, praise or criticise, or simply ignore. If you would like to criticise, please do, it is a lot better than praise. Someone said to me a long, long time ago, that your best friends are those that criticise, not praise you.

Today, I had to hand in my Canon 40D to Canon in Melbourne for repair. Last week it simply popped out of the tripod and fell over. Bugger! I don't think Canon will deliver within the next 10 days as they say! But who knows, if all goes well and not many parts are to be changed, they probably will. Fingers crossed.

On my return from Canon I stopped at MSY technologies which is close by for a browse. My 1TB external hard drive I received as a gift started ticking like a clock and the guy at MSY said the hard disk is faulty. I had already lost a lot of data and so, decided to get a 2TB same brand 3.5"drive that needs an external power supply. I'll probably use the other one as a carry on for my travels and back up what I have on my laptop. Nothing like peace of mind that you are covered and can access your backup anytime! Got to build this back up routine religiously into my
Now there's a 3 year warranty on this 3.5" and I have already logged it into my Google calendar to back up the lot on probably a 20TB external drive that may be available for a song in 3 years from now.
So tonight it will be back up time onto the new 2TB external drive.
Until next time - cya and keep smiling.
